La Cocina de Tita Moning is not a restaurant; it is a "Dining Experience".It is located in the Elegant Legarda Ancestral Home in the San Miguel District of Old Manila, Philippines. Diners who make reservations get the chance to step back in time and experience life in Manila as it was at the turn of the century. Guests get a tour of the ancestral home and then dine in the homes main dining room using heirloom china, glassware and silverware and sample recipes from the era. It is a personal and historical look at Manila's more elegant past.

2. When can one dine at La Cocina de Tita Moning?

La Cocina de Tita Moning focuses on catering to private groups for both lunch and dinner. It is the perfect venue to host dinner parties for visiting business and personal colleagues as it allows them a glimpse into the rich and refined history of Manila.

At least Twenty Four Hours (24hrs) Notice must be given for ALL RESERVATIONS and a menu must be chosen in advance. 3. Can one dine at "La Cocina de Tita Moning" if they are a group of less than ten persons?

Yes, La Cocina de Tita Moning caters to groups less than 10 (2 persons and above). You must make a reservation and you must choose a menu twenty four hours before arriving so that we may be ready to welcome you as our guest. No Walk-ins are welcome. 4. How much does dinner at La Cocina de Tita Moning cost per person?

A full course dinner (seven courses) at La Concina de Tita Moning will cost a minimum of P1,500 per person andsubject to 12% VAT (Value added Tax) and 10% Service Charge. This price includes your meal, appetizers in the patio, access to museum and tour brochure of the ancestral home, as well as the dining experience on antique china, glassware, and silverware.

5. What kind of food is served at La Cocina de Tita Moning?

We serve Spanish-Filipino dishes. All the food served uses family heirloom recipes, what Tita Moning used to cook for her family in the home. 6. Can I bring my own wine when I come to La Cocina de Tita Moning?

You are most welcome to bring your own wine. The corkage charge is P300 per 750ml bottle. We will gladly serve it at your table, or you may order from our wine list.

7. Is the house airconditioned?

The dining room and living room where the guests dine are air-conditioned. The rest of the house is not air-conditioned.

They walk through an actual residence and see displays of antique camera equipment, an antique train set, antique clinic area, antique radio equipment, and works of art by Filipino National Artists. You will also get the chance to sample heirloom recipes and be served your meal as Manila's elite used to enjoy them at the turn of the century.
